In the grand year of 2001 Capcom decided to release Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney. In the much lesser 2023 my nerd self decided to buy it from the Eshop, and it was all downhill from there.

MAJOR spoiler warning for....basically everything. Listen, all I'm saying is that if you get spoiled for a semi-obsure prosecutor-centric musical made in 2013 don't blame me. Ace Attorney is the type of game that's best to jump into completely blind, so if you ever want to play it tread with caution!

"okay thats great but what is Ace Attorney?"

In short, Ace Attorney is a series of visual novels where you (usually) play as a defense attorney trying to get their client a "Not Guilty" verdict. For some reason, it's YOUR job to collect evidence, question witnesses and--more often than not--corner the real culprit while the entire legal system is rigged against you. Just an average Thursday if you ask me.
